Follow the races to the best finishes on the final day of Bob Pollock Invitational – Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets
CLEMSON, South Carolina –Georgia Tech Athletics concluded the Bob Pollock Invitational on Saturday with three top-10 finishes in the track events.
Tech’s top finisher that day was Alexander Thomas who placed fifth in the men’s 800m crossing the line in 1:50.37.
The women’s 3000m had two top 10 jackets with Liz Galarza ranking seventh and Claire Moritz placing eighth with times of 9:34.52 and 9:35.31, respectively.
Tech competed in three other events that day, the women’s 800m, men’s 3000m and women’s 200m.
Allie Walker and Haley Unthank were the best in the women’s 800m with times of 2:19.83 and 2:20.77, respectively.
At 200m, Sheleah Harris (25.33) and Jillian Catton (25.44) posted Georgia Tech’s best times.
The final event for the Yellow Jackets of the day was the men’s 3000m. John Higinbotham ran the event in 8:18.61.
The Whites and Ors will be back next weekend at the JDL Camel City Invitational and Doc Hale Elite Meet.
