Name removal | Martinelli scores donations to Second Harvest – Santa Cruz Sentinel

S. Martinelli & Co. announced a record company donation to Second Harvest Food Bank’s annual Holiday Food & Fund Drive campaign.

Martinelli’s, the Gold Medal apple juice company, provided nearly 87,000 meals to families in Santa Cruz County. Since the program’s inception, Martinelli’s has provided hundreds of thousands of meals to the local community.

Paul Happach joins the bank

Santa Cruz County Bank announced this week the arrival of Paul Happach as senior vice president and head of digital and product transformation.

Happach will work from the bank’s location at 75 River St. Santa Cruz, where he is responsible for program and project management, product development and vendor management.

Happach has 24 years of experience in the banking industry with extensive experience in product management, project management and IT management. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Cal State Los Angeles.

Candidates sought

Visit Santa Cruz County and its Nominating Task Force is soliciting nominations to the Board of Directors. The VSCC is governed by a 25-member Board of Directors comprised of representatives from various regions of the county, 13 accommodation seats, and a cross section of representatives from business, cultural, government, and community-affiliated organizations. travel and tourism industry, according to the organization.

Responsibilities of the volunteer position include participating in the governance of the organization, general advocacy for the tourism industry, and active participation in board meetings held six times a year.

Newman leading a housing group

Housing Santa Cruz County has named Brooke Newman as the organization’s interim chief executive.

Newman will serve as Santa Cruz County’s first chief housing officer, according to a statement from the organization. She has experience working on housing issues, particularly homelessness. Newman will lead Housing Santa Cruz County staff as it enters its second year of mobilizing the community for affordable housing policies and affordable projects designed to meet the needs of low-income people in the county.

Housing Santa Cruz County is a coalition of local organizations and individuals working to increase affordable housing opportunities for local residents and workers.
