SARATOGA SPRINGS, NY (NEWS10) – The Post Bar, a popular gathering spot for race fans at the Saratoga Racetrack, will be replaced this summer with a larger two-story structure featuring both a bar and a suite upstairs. The New York Racing Association (NYRA) announced the development on Wednesday, allowing fans to experience the 2022 races from a new elevated scenic viewing location.
The second floor addition will be called the Paddock Suite and will be rented to groups or individuals by reservation. Rental includes admission, choice of food platters, soft drinks, coffee and tea, taxes, gratuity and race program. Open bar packages are also available for purchase.

“We are thrilled to announce this new capital improvement project which we believe will be very well received by fans attending Saratoga this summer,” said Kevin Quinn, NYRA Vice President, Sales and Hospitality. “The refurbished Post Bar and new Paddock Suite follow on from last year’s additions, the Spa Verandas and the Tailgate at the Turn. These upgrades are designed to provide our fans with the best in modern amenities while preserving the charm and history that sets Saratoga apart as a place for sports and entertainment.
The Paddock Lounge on the second floor can accommodate up to 80 people and will be rented in whole or in part. Subject to availability, individual bookings will also be accepted.
