NFL September 9 Kickoff Leaves Road Closures and Parking Options for Event – CBS Tampa
TAMPA, Fla. (CW44 News At 10) – The 2021 NFL season kicks off September 9, 2021 for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Traffic is expected to be heavy in downtown Tampa on Thursday, September 9, for the NFL kickoff at Julian B. Lane Riverfront Park.
Barricades and signs will be placed to facilitate movement, be careful when driving in the area.

Road / lane closure hours:
Saturday September 4 from 6:00 a.m. to Saturday September 11 at midnight W. Green Street between N. Boulevard and W. Laurel Street
Wednesday, September 8 at 7:00 p.m. to Friday, September 10 at 5:00 a.m. Exterior lane northbound on N. Boulevard from W. Cypress Street and W. Green Street W. Laurel Street between N. Boulevard and Doyle Carlton Drive
Parking options for the event:
Park in Ybor and take the streetcar to Downtown Centro Ybor & Palm Ave garages: $ 1 / hour until 6 p.m. – $ 10 all day after 6 p.m.
Parking possibilities in the city center:
Royal Regional Lot, Crosstown Lots, Convention Center and William F. Poe Garages: $ 10 – $ 20 all day Garage Fort Brooke, Garage Pam Iorio: $ 2 / hour

A limited number of accessible spaces are available on the south side of JBL Park and in all public car parks.
A vehicle correctly displaying a disabled parking permit is entitled to a maximum of 4 hours free of charge at on-street parking meters (must be activated at the payment terminal)
