Principal Secretary inspects NATRAX and briefed on facilities

Pithampur/Dhar (Madhya Pradesh): Principal Secretary of the Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion, Sanjay Kumar Shukla on Saturday visited the National Automotive Test Tracks (NATRAX), the state-of-the-art automotive test tracks in Pithampur, District from Dhar.

Dhar District Collector Dr. Pankaj Jain and MPSIDC Executive Director Indore Rohan Saxena were with him.

The head of NATRAX, Dr. N Karuppaiah briefed him on Natrax’s layout plan and also briefed Shukla on the different types of auto programs that can be held at NATRAX tracks during the MP Auto Expo.

Subsequently, an audio-visual film of NATRAX was shown and they were informed about the facilities developed within the framework of NATRAX as well as the program, which will be held for the fifteenth time at NATRAX from April 6 to 10.

The Principal Secretary appreciated NATRAX and the facilities developed under the program. He asked the MPSIDC to play an active role in this event as well as the local automotive industry to participate in this event and contribute to it.

Dr. Karuppaiah expressed his gratitude to the state government for the land allocation. He also appreciated the district administration for their efforts and support for the project and in relocating utility lines like public roads, water pipes, power lines and rehabilitation of Madhavpura village.

He requested that the two remaining issues, namely the rehabilitation of the Bijasan Temple and the acquisition of a small portion of land outside the border for the completion of the perimeter wall, be resolved as soon as possible. .

The meeting was followed by a tour of the plots with tree planting by the dignitaries as a symbol of their commitment to nature conservation. After that, the collector as well as the main secretary and the executive director MPSIDC were taken to the 14 tracks. He advised NATRAX to hold more events and introduce NATRAX facilities to the outside world and achieve the goals of the state government’s automotive mission plan.
