Ryan donates match suite to United Way for Saints in home opener

Ryan, a proud partner of the New Orleans Saints, showed his appreciation for local community volunteers by donating their game suite to two United Way groups for the Saints’ home opener against the Buccaneers of Tampa Bay on Sunday, September 18 at Caesars Superdome.

“At Ryan, ‘Generosity Matters’ is a value we strive to live every day,” said Matt Zagotti, Ryan Baton Rouge Manager. “The impactful work of United Way of Southeast Louisiana addresses disparities in health, education and financial stability in our community. We are proud to invite those who serve on the front lines and the clients they help at this weekend’s game in appreciation and to encourage their important work.”

“Being in Baton Rouge, I have more exposure and experiences with Capital Area United Way (“CAUW”),” Zagotti said. “I saw them stepping up for the severe flooding in 2016 and again last year when the capital region was hit by Hurricane Ida. At the same time, CAUT reached out to the South East affiliate to offer supplies, resources, volunteers, etc.

Ryan, one of the world’s leading providers of tax services and software, chose to honor these United Way affiliates because “they have been the local boots on the ground helping those in need, working overtime to helping their communities with hurricane relief in the south. ‘
