Four years to the day after cutting the ribbon at Auburn Rise, the first condominium development under the Logel Homes brand, founder Tim Logel used his lucky scissors to officially open six new showroom suites in Seton West.

“This is our 50th building since we started (as Cardel Lifestyles) in 2002. Today we have nearly 500 units under construction and recently delivered our 4,500th condominium and townhouse” , Logel said at the June 2 ceremony. “We have been working on our strategy to build affordable, high quality, well-designed condos with a focus on exceeding our customers’ expectations. Two of Logel’s award-winning floor plans are included in the parade of six suites in the six-building development in Seton, a community that earned developer Brookfield Residential a BILD award for Calgary Community of the Year. They are The Carr 2, a 543-square-foot, one-bedroom, one-bathroom model and The Atwood 2, a 1,020-square-foot, two-bedroom, two-bathroom corner unit.

The Carr 2 Show Suite includes an optional frosted transom with an optional opaque barn door to bring natural light into the interior room. The kitchen in this compact apartment is cleverly arranged along one wall, creating more living and dining space. The standard model starts at $200,000.

The Atwood 2 is the builder’s largest floor plan, priced around $300,000. Logel’s design team has come up with their best and brightest options for this model, including attractive herringbone flooring, finely ribbed white wall panels, walk-in closets with built-ins and backlit vanity mirrors in master bathroom.

The hallmark of a Logel condo is the typical features of a single-family home, such as pot-and-pan drawers, glass-door cabinets, wall ovens and pantry cupboards, all featured in The Atwood. Priced around $200,000, this suite features oversized windows, an L-shaped kitchen, and a 125-square-foot patio (ground floor). Buyers can choose from 12 floor plans and can mix and match their interiors from an array of standard features, with an extensive catalog of options adding to the unit’s final price.

Sales at Seton West kicked off in 2021 with new floor plans just released in Building 4. Logel also attributed the location to the development’s vigorous sales.

“One of the reasons for the success here is this incredible community that Brookfield is building. There is the South Health Campus Hospital, the Brookfield Residential YMCA, one of the largest YMCAs in North America. There are amenities within walking distance – grocery stores, movie theaters, restaurants and a community center that will be built next to our site here,” he said, referring to future facilities for the Association of residents of Seton.
